6. URBAN MINING
Congress 2015

Main topic in 2015

Resources thought anew - The city as resource mine
The 6th URBAN MINING Congress will be hosted on the 4th and 5th of November in conjunction with the 3. RECYCLING-TECHNIK 2015 in the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund.

In light of the steadily decreasing availability of resources the URBAN MINING Congress fixes its eyes on ways to reacquire resources that are already in use.  The congress is a Europe wide meeting point for experts of this field of study. The URBAN MINING Award will be awarded on the 4th of November as part of the congress.

The focus of the RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund Trade Fair for recycling, environmental technology and urban mining is to improve the efficiency of recycling. Innovative products and technologies for collecting, sorting, processing, utilization and disposal of recyclable materials are to be on display. The fair will also benefit from the synergies of the in parallel running event SCHÜTTGUT 2015 Trade Fair for granule, powder and bulk solids technologies.
